The Bylaws and changes thereto are ultimately approved by Department of California. The Bylaws provide the approved “laws” and direction for the proper operation of the Post. Each member is encouraged to read and be aware of the contents so that you will know when the ship goes off course. After all, it is YOUR Post.
Members recommending changes should present them, in writing, to the Post Adjutant so that they may be addressed to the Executive Board and membership for approval and possible implementation. Rationale for the change is strongly encouraged. Membership approved Bylaws are effective immediately and will remain in effect unless overturned by Department who is the final approval authority.
