Standing Rules

The Standing Rules of an organization provide specific guidance concerning the conduct of business; it is the “how to” that supplements the mandates of the Bylaws which require approval by the Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, or the California Department of the American Legion, as applicable.  Standing Rules, and their changes and waivers, are subject to approval by the membership for immediate implementation per Roberts Rules of Order.
